Bodybuilding is the process by which muscle fibers
are developed through a combination of weight training, increased caloric

like Joe Weide, Vince Gironda Dan Lluire and Bert Goodrick shaped the
early principles.
Creatine increases muscle mass, protein synthesis and some types of
exercise capacity after it has been taken for a month. Typically bodybuilders
and athletes take high doses (20 grams per day) during a five-day loading
phase and about five grams per day during a maintenance phase. Taking
creatine with carbohydrates and amino acids may be more beneficial,
because it seems to speed uptake.
These bodybuilding supplements work by increasing
creatine phosphate—an important high-energy compound in the cells.
However, many bodybuilders and athletes are not meticulous about taking
supplements and often try to improve performance by taking low doses
of creatine for a short time. Research found that six days of low-dose
creatine supplementation (six grams per day of Actijube) did not increase
exercise capacity, muscle mass, or strength.
Creatine is a safe and effective
supplement taken correctly. It improves performance in repeated sprint
cycling, strength training and treadmill running. It also improves power
output on a stationary bike by 20 percent. Most individuals take this
supplement as a training and recovery aid. You do not have to take a
lot of it, but you need to take it long enough to increase levels of
creatine phosphate in the muscles.
Female Fitness came about as a result of the promoters looking for
something that would show female bodybuilders in a different light.
The idea behind this was to include females who were athletic, fit and
attractive, but who did not possess the muscular development of a female
